Relay Goods

Relay proudly supplies over 80% of Shood’s donated running shoes, helping us equip thousands of student-athletes each year.

They source fit-based returns, surplus inventory, and footwear in imperfect boxes from top retailers and leading brands — shoes that are practically perfect, with zero mileage, normally hidden in warehouses and fulfillment centers.

Because of Relay, countless young athletes get the shoes they need to run, play, and succeed.

Bombas

Shood is fortunate to have Bombas as our sock partner, donating 5,000 pairs of socks yearly for over 8 years so that each guest at a Shood Share receives a free pair of new socks along with their shoes. Giving back is at the core of Bombas’ business, donating a pair of socks to non-profit organizations like Shood for each pair they sell.  

On Cloud

Through the Right to Run grant from Onrunning Shoe Company, they donated 600 pairs of shoes to Shood — a gift valued at $34,000.

Thanks to their generosity, more kids and athletes will have the shoes they need to run, play, and thrive!

Hoka

Hoka generously donated 600 pairs of new Hoka track spikes to Shood, helping student-athletes hit the track with the right gear to perform their best.

Fleet Feet

Shood is grateful for our long-standing partnership with Fleet Feet and owner Jeff Wells. From hosting permanent donation bins in all three store locations to personally sizing and fitting guests at Shood Share events, Jeff’s hands-on support has helped ensure every guest receives shoes with dignity and care.

Sports Backers

During the past 27 years, Sports Backers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has developed programs and events that are designed to inspire people from all corners of our community to live actively. Shood works with Kids on the Move, a Sports Backers program, to align our missions to create a more active community. We understand that the more we work together, the more good we can do for RVA.

Slay Like a Mother donated over 6,000 reusable shoe bags to support our Shood Share giveaways. Not only do these sustainable bags help us package shoes with care, but our guests also continue using them long after their Shood experience — making the impact last even longer.
