About SHOOD

At SHOOD (Shoes for Good), we believe every student-athlete deserves the dignity of high-quality footwear—regardless of financial circumstance.

Since 2017, SHOOD has provided more than 38,000 pairs of new and like-new running shoes and track spikes, representing over $2 million in retail value, to schools and communities across Central Virginia and beyond.

What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a movement—connecting athletes, schools, and brands to ensure no good shoe goes to waste and no step goes unsupported.

About Relay Goods

Relay Goods is a key partner in SHOOD’s mission, proudly supplying the majority of our donated running shoes. Through their commitment to sustainability and community impact, Relay Goods helps equip thousands of student-athletes and individuals each year with high-quality footwear.

Together, SHOOD and Relay Goods are advancing access, equity, and environmental responsibility—keeping shoes out of landfills while empowering students to take confident, healthy steps forward, both on and off the track.
